MEET THE COACHES
Meet Clark Street CrossFit's Head Coach, Greg Colding. Greg is originally from Valdosta, GA and served our country in the U.S. Navy from 2007 to 2011. Greg has over 10 years of CrossFit experience and obtained the CrossFit Level 1 Certificate in 2011. He had no
intentions of becoming a coach, he simply wanted to become better at his craft and learn to be a better athlete. Now that he is coaching, Greg is passionate about bringing out the best in our members, just ask his students. Give Greg your best effort and he will get you results. Greg currently holds a CF-L1, CrossFit Endurance and USAW certificate.
Kaitlin Munn grew up in St. Clair, MI, and has been involved in sports her whole life. In high school she competed in cheer & track and field. In 2010, Kaitlin started training in Olympic weightlifting while attending college in Savannah, GA. She also competed in several national events. After six years, she turned to CrossFit seeking a sense of community. In 2017, she received her CrossFit Level 1 Certificate. Kaitlin's Saturday morning barbell club is a favorite of our members and is consistently the most well attended course at Clark Street CrossFit. Come check it out!
Jamie Lesk grew up in South Haven, MI and despite playing basketball and throwing shot-put and discus through high school, it wasn’t until she discovered obstacle course racing in 2014 that she found her niche. CrossFit-style workouts, bodybuilding, and short runs eventually turned into ultra running and endurance race training. Jamie started CrossFit in 2016 and hasn’t looked back since. She's recently added Olympic weightlifting to her plate and qualifying for her first national meet in 2019. Jamie earned her CrossFit Level 1 and USAW Level 1 Certificates in 2018 with the intention of bettering herself as an athlete, but discovered her love for sharing her knowledge via working with family and friends.
John Choi grew up in Mclean, VA. and was always active and participated in various sports. He played rugby at James Madison University. But after sustaining an injury, John had to leave the rugby life and that is when he found, fell in love, and dedicated himself to CrossFit. He’s never looked back. In 2017 John obtained his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and he’s been coaching ever since. John’s goal is not only to make people more fit, but to do it while putting smiles on the faces of his athletes - a perfect fit here at Clark Street CrossFit.
